Wagyu take longer to raise when compared to other bos taurus cattle breeds. The typical time to raise Wagyu on pasture for harvest is around 36-40 months. other breeds take between 18-24 months. Time, careful genetic selection, and a high quality diet is what provides the remarkable flavor.

our purebred wagyu, f1 cross, and red angus is some of the highest quality beef that money can buy. the rich and mouth watering flavor profile make it a home run. it’s what we feed our own family.

CALCULATE YOUR APPROXIMATE TAKE-HOME PRICE

Buying a Quarter, Half, or Whole Beef can be confusing. Here’s the scoop:

Live Weight = This is the weight of the whole beef with everything on it. The hide, hooves, etc. we do not price based on live weight.

Hanging weight = This the weight of the beef after everything is removed that is not edible. We price based on the hanging weight. This weight is normally AROUND 60% of the live weight. bone-out cuts are required per usda as our wagyu is harvested between 36-40 months. you will take home roughly 50-55% of the hanging weight.

The table below shows a rough estimation based on an average hanging weight of 500-600 pounds. Your take-home price is for all of your cuts delivered in vacuum sealed packages including steaks, roasts, ground beef, short ribs etc.
